If you follow me on social media you guys know I love Sprouted food!

I generally recommend limiting grains, legumes, and nuts if you are not consuming them sprouted as they can be a stress on the gut when not prepared properly. Sprouting is the traditional preparation process that reduces anti-nutrients (nutrient inhibitors), and activates enzymes to digest the food. Sprouting not only primes the food to make it digestible, but also allows the body to absorb the nutrients.
